Five years ago Aman Adinew and his relatives took over a beautiful coffee forest, a stone throw away from Alaka village. As the older generations had been long time involved in producing coffee, they returned home with the desire to develop an efficient and quality focused coffee business to gain recognition for the products of their region.
In the Guji region you will find the finest coffees in the world. Coffee originates from here, where wild varieties grow naturally in dense forests. These trees contribute to the fertility of the soil and provide optimal shade for a rare quality of coffee to flourish.
We were attracted by this coffee because of its distinctive Guji flavour profile and more so by the social impact Aman creates. From supporting local coffee producers with training and the distribution of coffee seeds to building roads and providing funds for new primary schools.
We currently roast bi-weekly on Fridays. New orders will be sent out after the next roast day or earlier depending on stock.
Upcoming roast days:
20th December
10th January 2025
24th January
7th February
21st February
7th March
