While the preparations for the new harvest are slowly starting in Ethiopia this years coffees have just arrived in the European harbours. It's our pleasure to showcase a new natural processed coffee which we call Aricha.
Aricha is one of the washing stations in Yirgacheffe that supply the company of Mebrahtu and Abiyot, Boledu Industrial. The station and dry mill were founded by Boledu in partnership with local farmers. They decided to build a natural coffee processing site in Aricha to be used by the small producers living in the region. The producers get training on how to process quality coffee with help of an agronomist. They learn about the specialty coffee standards for cherry collection that come with a premium to make an extra income.
Roughly 1500 producers make use of the facility to produce the exciting, floral and fruity coffees that we love so much from Yirgacheffe.
We currently roast bi-weekly on Fridays. New orders will be sent out after the next roast day or earlier depending on stock.
Upcoming roast days:
31st March
14th April
28th April
12th May
26th May
